GENIC is a 7-member Japanese CO-ED group managed by AVEX. Another profile detail is that The group was formed through the survival program “a-genic PROJECT” in 2019 and released their first pre-debut MV in December 2019 with the song 夏恋 (Summer Love) that was produced during the survival program in summer 2019. The group officially began activities on May 27, 2020. The profile also notes that in total 14 trainees, 7 male and 7 female participated and 5 male as well as 2 female participants remained to form GENIC.
