KAT-TUN (カトゥーン) is a japanese trio managed by Starto Entertainment (Formerly Johnny & Associates.) The band currently consists of Nakamaru Yuichi, Ueda Tatsuya, and Kamenashi Kazuya. Akanishi Jin departed the group on July 21st, 2010, Tanaka Koki departed the group in October of 2013 and Taguchi Junnosuke departed the group in March of 2016. They were formed in 2001 and began activities on March 22nd, 2006 with the release of the single ‘ Real Face ‘ and the compilation album ‘ Best of KAT-TUN ‘.
