Another profile detail is that he rose to fame through his breakout role in TVB’s A Step into the Past (2001) and quickly became one of the network’s most popular leading actors. Additional background says that he officially debuted as a singer in 2007 with the album Finding Love in Memories under Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG), where he previously built much of his music career before transitioning to Warner.
